END - OF -THE - YEAR UPDATES/ JANUARY CLASSES

Hi Everyone -
Hope you are all doing well and had a Wonderful Holiday! December has been a very busy month! I have so much to share with you!

After my daughters surprised me for my birthday, the fun continued all week long! Thanks so much to all of you that stopped by with birthday wishes and goodies! Here is a photo of some of the cards I received all week! I had the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!

New Year's Day: The Stamper's Cove will be closed on New Year's Day! We will reopen on Friday, January 2nd.

January Class Update
Unfortunately, since I was in Atlanta for Christmas and so busy before I left, the January Calendar is not quite complete. Here are classes I have so far:

Thank You Card Class: Wednesday, December 31, 1:30 - 3:30 PM (I recognize this is not January, but wanted to remind you of this class). OR - Wednesday, January 7th, 1:30 - 3:30 PM Class fee is $12.
We will create 4 Thank You Cards using the Snowflake stamp from Hero Arts. We will use brown and blue cardstock, embossing powder and ribbons to create these beautiful cards.

Stamp Club: Stamp Club will meet January 8th. We usually meet the first Thursday of the month, but since the first Thursday of January is New Years Day - we will meet on the following Thursday, January 8th.

Mini Calendar Class: Thursday, January, 15th, 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Class Fee: $15
Join us to make a fun mini calendar. We will use fun die cuts and embellishments to create a cute 3x4 calendar. Each month is 3x4 and it sits on an easel (included with the class). Here is a photo of each month - I have displayed them on a magnetic board for easy viewing.

Croppin At The Cove: Friday, January, 16th, 6-11PM. Class Fee: $10
Every 3rd Friday of the Month, The Stamper's Cove will host 'Croppin At The Cove.' Bring your supplies and spend Friday evening cropping! Your $10 fee includes water, soda, snacks and pizza. You can use the store paper trimmer and die cutting machine (Big Shot), bring your own embossing folders and dies.

Scrap & Dash: Thursday, January, 22nd, 4-7PM. Class Fee is $5.
Dash into The Stamper's Cove and 'pick up' your Scrap & Dash page or stay to make your Scrap & Dash layout! All materials will be provided to make a 1 page layout! You can stay and create the page at the store or take it home to make on your own! A sample will be online and in the store! Please call at least 24hours in advance to make sure I have a layout ready for you . Bring your class kit.

More to come - I have plans for more classes in January (another calendar class, Iris Paper Folding for Valentine's Day and another great canvas - think collage...). I will send an email on January 1st to give you more info!
If you would like to register for any of the upcoming classes - call The Stamper's Cove (941-907-0802) - I can take your payment for the class over the phone or stop by and register in person!

Another visitor....so as I was loading up my car at the store on the Saturday before Christmas, I glanced over by the side of the parking lot and this is what i saw - yes a TURTLE! But not just ANY turtle - a mama turtle laying eggs! Can you believe it?!! Though I've seen videos of turtles laying eggs, I've never seen it in person before - it was incredible!! If you look closely at this photo you will see the egg! I went back to check on the mama turtle before I left, she was gone and had covered up her eggs! So cool!

Okay, so now I've gotta get to bed - but before I go - I do have to share one more photo! The Bixler/Canavan girls in their annual 'matching Christmas Pajamas' photo! I have been doing this for 38 years - the tradition continues!

Even though it's fun to go away, it's always great to come home! I missed you and can't wait to see you soon!

Hugs!
Kathy
